My master’s thesis focuses on analyzing changes in the distribution of vascular plant species over the past 90 years on Clavering Island, Northeast Greenland.

By comparing historical data (from surveys in 1931-33 and 2001) with new data from a re-survey in 2023, I aim to investigate shifts in species' elevational ranges in response to climate warming.

Specifically, I will assess upward movements in species distributions, explore changes in species composition between the survey periods, and identify species that are either adapting to or struggling with changing climate conditions.
