StudentMy master’s thesis focuses on analyzing changes in the distribution of vascular plant species over the past 90 years on Clavering Island, Northeast Greenland.
By comparing historical data (from surveys in 1931-33 and 2001) with new data from a re-survey in 2023, I aim to investigate shifts in species' elevational ranges in response to climate warming.
Specifically, I will assess upward movements in species distributions, explore changes in species composition between the survey periods, and identify species that are either adapting to or struggling with changing climate conditions.
